The Studio
Founded in 1997, Sleeping Wolf Productions is a full service recording facility located in the heart of the beautiful western North Carolina mountains just 25 miles west of Asheville. SWP grew out of the love for music and the belief that all musicians should be afforded the opportunity to pursue their musical aspirations.
The Studio features a 25' X 30' X 21' Recording Room that can accomodate any musical configuration from a small group to a symphony orchestra.
A 6'6" Young Chang Joseph Pramberger Edition Grand Piano, numerous synthesizers, guitars and a full set of Roland Electronic Drum Pads are available for any session.
A 10' X 16' isolation room allows for drum or vocalist separation during live recording.
From the vaulted, 21 foot ceiling in the main recording room to the native mountain stone wall in the isolation room, acoustic engineering is successfully combined with comfort and elegance to create a truly inspiring recording environment.
From its humble analog 8 track beginnings to its current 72 digital tracks SWP has always sought to be a studio for the musician. To date SWP clientele reaches from South Africa to Broadway to Louisiana and grows each day.
Plans for the future include expanding to include the film industry. When complete, this phase of SWP will offer a scoring stage, sound design, Foley and ADR.
